Find HVAC manuals and keep warranty evidence together
Use full model labels and manufacturer documents, with warranty coverage kept unknown until confirmed.
Use the full model label to find the owner's manual, installation instructions and product information. Daikin's resource center and Mitsubishi Electric's U.S. technical library provide manufacturer documents. A similar series name is not enough to establish that a manual covers your equipment.
Record both indoor and outdoor equipment, public document links and the installation date in one home passport. A model or serial number alone does not establish equipment age, warranty coverage, registration or the correct replacement part.
Keep the actual warranty terms and registration reference when available. Registration recorded is different from a coverage decision. A qualified contractor or manufacturer can confirm eligibility, exclusions and a claim. Correct or delete browser-local records when needed; session photos are not included in exported equipment profiles.
